Welcome to Phoenix counselling UK!

My name is Caroline and I am a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist and member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), which means you can be rest assured that I meet high standards of proficiency, professionalism and ethical practice.

If you are reading this it likely means you're unhappy about an area, or areas of your life and want to change, improve, or work towards acceptance.

That's what I'm here for!

They say a problem shared is a problem halved and while this is true my job is to do more than just listen but to also work with you towards positive change and/or acceptance. One size doesn't fit all and therefore I tailor sessions towards your needs and the unique human-being that you are, working collaboratively in a confidential and safe way, free from judgement, with an aim to help you to enjoy life and to thrive in it. Circumstances in life can knock you down but you don't have to stay there. Like a phoenix you can rise from the ashes and become happier, stronger and live your best life and I aim to help you do that.

I am a qualified integrative therapist (person - centered and psycho-dynamic approaches). I also incorporate elements of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I am committed to continued professional development in order to give you the best type of therapy for your needs. My background in both acting and marketing has allowed me insight into two very different worlds and have allowed me to meet and build professional relationships with a wide variety of people.

Areas that I work with are (but not limited to):
Anxiety
Stress
Depression
Low mood
Childhood issues
Anger
Low self esteem
Relationship issues (including family relationships and friendships and relationships with colleagues)

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions and if you would like to book an introductory/assessment session. This would give you the opportunity to decide if i'm the right therapist for you and if therapy is the right path for you. It would include getting a basic understanding of your circumstances, history and what you want to achieve in therapy. If we decide to work together I would suggest a minimum commitment of 6 weekly sessions (50 minutes each) initially (with the option for more sessions dependent on your needs). Sessions can be paid weekly (£70 per session with a limited number of concessionary rates).

It's never too late to rise from the ashes and work towards becoming your best self so call or email me today.
